PART 1AMENDMENT TO SECONDARY LEGISLATION TO INSERT REFERENCE TO THE “DIRECTOR OF LABOUR MARKET ENFORCEMENT”

Amendment of the Official Secrets Act 1989 (Prescription) Order 1990

1.  In the Official Secrets Act 1989 (Prescription) Order 1990(1), at the end of Schedule 2 (prescriptions: section 12(1)(g)), insert—

Director of Labour Market Enforcement.

Amendment of the Legislative and Regulatory Reform (Regulatory Functions) Order 2007

2.  In Part 1 of the Schedule to the Legislative and Regulatory Reform (Regulatory Functions) Order 2007(2), in the table, for “Gangmasters Licensing Authority” substitute “Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority”.

Amendment of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers (Authorisations Extending to Scotland) Order 2007

3.  In the Schedule to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers (Authorisations Extending to Scotland) Order 2007(3), for “The Gangmasters Licensing Authority” substitute “The Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority”.

Amendment of the Companies (Disclosure of Address) Regulations 2009

4.  In Schedule 1 to the Companies (Disclosure of Address) Regulations 2009(4) (specified public authorities), for “the Gangmasters Licensing Authority” substitute “the Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority”.

Amendment of the Overseas Companies Regulations 2009

5.  In Schedule 1 to the Overseas Companies Regulations 2009(5) (specified public authorities), for “the Gangmasters Licensing Authority” substitute “the Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority”.

Amendment of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (References to Financial Investigators) Order 2009

6.  In Schedule 1 to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (References to Financial Investigators) Order 2009 (6), in column 2 of the table, for “the Gangmasters Licensing Authority” in each place where it appears substitute “the Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority”.
