Amendment of the Education Act 2002

2.—(1) The Education Act 2002(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In Schedule 11B (offence under section 141G: supplementary provisions)(2)—
(a)in paragraph 1(2)—
(i)for “The purpose of this Schedule is to comply with” substitute “In this Schedule “the E-Commerce Directive” means”;
(ii)omit “(“the E-Commerce Directive”)”;
(b)omit paragraphs 2 and 3;
(c)omit paragraph 7(2).

Schedule 11B was inserted by Schedule 4 to the Education Act 2011 (c. 21) and amended by S.I. 2012/1809.
