41.—(1) Section 69 of the 1949 Act (licensing of chapels for marriages according to rites of Church of England)(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (4), for “registering marriages solemnized” substitute “solemnizing marriages”.
(3) In subsection (5), for “registration” substitute “solemnization”.
Section 69 was amended by paragraph 17 of Schedule 7 to the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013.
