13.—(1) The Dentists Act 1984(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In section 26B(8)(2) (bodies to be consulted before issuing guidance for registered dentists)—
(a)omit “and” at the end of paragraph (c);
(b)in paragraph (d), for “Health and Social Services Boards” substitute “Health and Social Care trusts”;
(c)at the end of paragraph (d) insert—
“; and
(e)the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.”.
(3) In section 36M(8)(3) (bodies to be consulted before issuing guidance for registered dental care professionals)—
(a)omit “and” at the end of paragraph (c);
(b)in paragraph (d), for “Health and Social Services Boards” substitute “Health and Social Care trusts”;
(c)at the end of paragraph (d) insert—
“; and
(e)the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.”.
(4) In section 50D(4)(4) (bodies to be consulted before making rules)—
(a)omit “and” at the end of paragraph (c);
(b)in paragraph (d), for “Health and Social Services Boards” substitute “Health and Social Care trusts”;
(c)at the end of paragraph (d) insert—
“; and
(e)the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.”.
Section 26B was inserted by S.I. 2005/2011 and amended by paragraph 33 and 34 of Schedule 5 to the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (c. 7).
Section 36M was inserted by S.I. 2005/2011 and amended by paragraph 33 and 35 of Schedule 5 to the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
Section 50D was inserted by S.I. 2005/2011 and amended by paragraph 33 and 37 of Schedule 5 to the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
