1.—(1) These Rules may be cited as the Assistance with Voting for Persons with Disabilities (Principal Area, Parish and Greater London Authority Elections) (Amendments) Rules 2022 and come into force on 29th December 2022.
(2) The amendments made by these Rules do not apply to an election or poll in respect of which the date of the poll specified in the notice of election or poll is on or before 3rd May 2023.
(3) The amendments made by these Rules have the same extent and application as the provision amended, except for the amendments made by regulation 2 which do not apply to polls consequent on a community meeting in Wales.
