127.—(1) The National Health Service Commissioning Board and Clinical Commissioning Groups (Responsibilities and Standing Rules) Regulations 2012(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 16—
(a)in paragraph (1A)—
(i)for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—
“(a)co-operates with the education and training body in such manner and to such extent as the education and training body may request, in planning the provision of, and in providing, education and training for health care workers; and”;
(ii)in sub-paragraph (b), for “the LETB in question” substitute “the education and training body”;
(b)in paragraph (2)—
(i)at the appropriate place insert—
““education and training body” means the body required to exercise functions by or under section 97 or 98 of the Care Act 2014(2);”;
(ii)omit the definition of “LETB”.
