2.—(1) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008 laying down detailed rules for implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 as regards the arrangements for imports of organic products from third countries(1) is amended as follows.
(2) Omit Article 13(8) to (10).
(3) In Annex 5 (certificate of inspection)—
(a)in box 2—
(i)omit “, as it has effect in Great Britain”;
(ii)omit the words from “Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007, as it has effect in the European Union” to the end;
(b)in the Notes—
(i)in the entry relating to box 2, omit the words from “, as it has effect”, in the first place it occurs, to “European Union,”;
(ii)in the entry relating to box 4—
(aa)omit “, as it has effect in Great Britain, or Article 2(i) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007, as it has effect in the European Union,”;
(bb)omit “, as it has effect in Great Britain, or Article 34 of Regulation (EC) 889/2008, as it has effect in the European Union.”;
(iii)in the entry relating to box 8, omit the words from “, as it has effect”, in the first place it occurs, to “European Union,”.
(4) In Annex 6 (extract of the certificate of inspection)—
(a)in box 2—
(i)omit “, as it has effect in Great Britain”;
(ii)omit the words from “Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007, as it has effect in the European Union” to the end;
(b)in the Notes, in the entry relating to box 2, omit the words from “, as it has effect”, in the first place it occurs, to “European Union,”.
