2. The amendment of section 51A of the Building Act 1984(1) by section 46(2) of the Building Safety Act 2022(2) does not apply in relation to an initial notice to which regulation 46 of the Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulations 2024(3) applies.

Section 46 was brought into force for all remaining purposes on 1 October 2023 by S.I. 2023/993 (C.59).
