86.—(1) Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 laying down health rules as regards animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1774/2002 (Animal by-products Regulation)(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In the following provisions for “retained EU” substitute “assimilated”—
(a)Article 6(1)(a);
(b)Article 8(c);
(c)Article 9(c) and (e)(i);
(d)Article 26(3);
(e)Article 41(1).
EUR 2009/1069; Articles 6(1)(a), 8(c), 9(c) and (e)(i) and 26(3) were amended by S.I. 2020/1388. Article 41(1) was amended by S.I. 2019/588 and S.I. 2020/1388.
