36. Regulation (EC) No 1060/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on credit rating agencies(1) is amended as follows—
(a)in Article 4(6)(b)(2) for “retained EU” substitute “assimilated”;
(b)in Article 5, in paragraph (1)(b) and paragraph (7)(3) for “retained EU” substitute “assimilated”.

Paragraph (6) was substituted by S.I. 2019/266, which was itself amended by S.I. 2020/1055 before it came into force.
