Amendment of the Education Workforce Council (Main Functions) (Wales) Regulations 2015

2.—(1) The Education Workforce Council (Main Functions) (Wales) Regulations 2015(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In the English language text, in each place it occurs (including the headings) for “Fitness to Practice”, substitute “Fitness to Practise”.

(3) In the Welsh language text, in regulation 3(1), for the definition of “Pwyllgor Addasrwydd i Ymarfer” substitute—

“ystyr “Pwyllgor Addasrwydd i Ymarfer (“Fitness to Practise Committee”) yw pwyllgor a sefydlwyd o dan reoliad 22;”.

(4) In regulation 26, in paragraph (6)(b), for paragraphs (i) and (ii) substitute—

“(i) a person registered in at least one of the categories of registration; and

(ii) employed, or engaged otherwise than under a contract of employment, in at least one of the posts described in the categories of registration on the date of that registered person member’s appointment to the Committee.”

(5) In regulation 45, in paragraph (3)(b), for “(1)” substitute “(2)”.

(6) In paragraph 21 of Part 1 of Schedule 2, after “142” insert “or section 167A”.
