Other matters
C1176Directions of the Commission

Any direction given by the Commission under any provision contained in this Act—
a
may be varied or revoked by a further direction given under that provision; and
b
shall be given in writing.

Sections 174 and 175(1), (2) and (4) shall apply to any such directions as they apply to an order of the Commission.

In subsection (1) the reference to the Commission includes, in relation to a direction under subsection (3) of section 22, a reference to any person conducting an inquiry under that section.

Nothing in this section shall be read as applying to any directions contained in an order made by the Commission under section 173(1).
