This Act, except the provisions mentioned in subsection (2), shall come into operation on such day or days as the Department may by order appoint.

The provisions referred to in subsection (1) are—

• section 6(5) and (6);

• section 12;

• section 13;

• section 16;

• section 17 so far as it relates to paragraphs 3 and 9 of Schedule 1;

• this section;

• section 20.
