The statutory provisions set out in Schedule3 are repealed to the extent specified in the second column of that Schedule.
28Interpretation
In this Act, except in section 19, “the Department” means the Department for Employment and Learning.
29Commencement

This section, section 28 and section 30 come into operation on the day after the day on which this Act receives Royal Assent.

The other provisions of this Act come into operation on such day or days as the Department may by order appoint.
30Short title
This Act may be cited as the Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2016.
