In article 3 of the Civil Service Commissioners (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 (selection on merit)—
a
in paragraph (2), omit sub-paragraph (c) (and the “or” preceding it);
b
omit paragraph (4A); and
c
in paragraph (5), omit “or (c)”

In consequence of subsection (1), the Civil Service Commissioners (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 is repealed.

An order under section 23(3) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 may not be made unless a draft of the order has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Assembly.
