This Order may be cited as the Financial Provisions (Northern Ireland) Order 1976.

Commencement
Interpretation2

The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 [1954 c.33] shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

In this Order the expression “statutory provision” has the meaning assigned to it by section 1( f) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954.

The fee payable under section 10 of the Savings Banks Act 1887 [1887 c.40] for the issue of a certificate of birth, marriageF1, civil partnershipF1 or death for the purposes of the Acts relating to the National Savings Bank,F3... and government annuities shall be 5p or such larger sum as theF2 Department of Finance and Personnel may by order prescribeF2 and, accordingly, … residue amends s.10 of 1887 c.40
Art.16 repeals in part s.188 of 1878 c.52.
Art. 17 substitutes s.1(3)(a) of 1961 c.18 (NI).
