Terms of a secure tenancy
Subletting and lodgers30.
(1)
It is by virtue of this Article a term of every secure tenancy that the tenant may allow any persons to reside as lodgers in the dwelling-house.
(2)
It is by virtue of this Article a term of every secure tenancy that the tenancy will not, without the written consent of the landlord, sublet or part with the possession of part of the dwelling-house.
(3)
The consent required by virtue of this Article is not to be unreasonably withheld and, if unreasonably withheld, shall be treated as given.
(4)
An application for the landlord's consent required by virtue of paragraph (2) shall be in writing.
