Insurance against risks by boardsN.I.

86.[F1(1)] A board may, and if so directed by the Department shall, insure against such risks in connection with any of the functions of the board as the board or the Department considers necessary.

[F1(2) A board may insure, or meet the cost of insuring, against such risks in connection with any of the functions to which this paragraph applies as the board considers necessary.

(3) Paragraph (2) applies to the functions of—

(a)the Board of Governors of a grant-aided school, other than a voluntary grammar school or a grant-maintained integrated school;F2. . .
