NORTHERN IRELAND

This Order—provides for clubs to be registered by a county court and establishes a procedure for these registrations;provides for general permitted hours in registered clubs similar to the permitted hours in licensed premises;makes it an offence for a person under the age of 18 to be in the bar of a registered club or to be supplied with intoxicating liquor;makes it an offence to be drunk or to permit drunkenness in a registered club;makes new provision in respect of the right of the police to enter and inspect club premises; andotherwise consolidates the statutory provisions relating to the registration of clubs.
