(4) In section 20(1)( a ) of the Children and Young Persons Act (Northern Ireland) 1968F2 (cruelty to persons under 16) for the words “two years” there shall be substituted the words “ ten years ” .

(5) This Article does not affect the punishment for an offence committed before it comes into operation.
