[F1 Delegation of functions by Lord Chief Justice N.I.

181A— (1) The Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland may nominate any of the following to exercise a delegable function—

(a) the holder of one of the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002;

(b) a Lord Justice of Appeal (as defined in section 88 of that Act).

(2) In paragraph (1) “delegable function” means a function under any of these provisions of this Order—

(a) Article 4(2);

(b) Article 166(14);

(c) Article 169(5);

(d) Article 170(5);

(e) in Schedule 1, paragraph 6(2);

(f) in Schedule 7—

(i) paragraph 1(1), (2) and (4);

(ii) paragraph 2(1) and (5);

(iii) paragraph 3;

(iv) paragraph 4(4), (6)(a) and (7).]
