NORTHERN IRELAND

This Order repeals and re-enacts with amendments the Commissioner for Complaints Act (Northern Ireland) 1969. The principal amendments make provision for—the removal from office of the Commissioner where he is incapable, for medical reasons, of carrying out his duties;the appointment of a person to act as Commissioner for a temporary period;extending the list of bodies subject to investigation by the Commissioner.
