40. Where required to do so by the Board, or on behalf of the Board, the dentist shall pay to a doctor or another dentist, for the administration of general anaesthetic by virtue of arrangements made under paragraph 21, a fee not exceeding the fee in the Scale of Fees appropriate to the item of treatment provided.
