7.—(1) On 1st January 2000, the 1980 Regulations shall be amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 12—
(a)in paragraph (b) the words “stones, quarters, hundredweights or tons” shall be omitted; and
(b)paragraph (i) and the word “and” immediately following it shall be omitted.
