SOCIAL SECURITY
These Regulations provide for the way in which the earnings of a person to whom benefit is or may be payable, or the earnings of such a person’s dependant, are to be calculated or estimated for the purposes of those provisions of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992, and regulations made under that Act, by which the right to, or the amount of, benefit depends on the amount of those earnings.

The age of a child referred to in paragraph 2 shall be determined by reference to the age of the child at the date on which the benefit week begins.
