Disability Discrimination (Guidance and Code of Practice) (Appointed Day) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996

in pursuance of sections 3(4) and 54(1) of the Disability Discrimination Act 19951 the Department of Economic Development (hereinafter referred to as “the Department”) has consulted such persons in preparing a draft of the Guidance and such organisations in preparing a draft of the Code of Practice as it considered appropriate;

in pursuance of sections 3(5) and 54(2) of the said Act the Department has published a draft of the Guidance and the Code of Practice and has considered such representations that were made to it about the drafts and has modified its proposals in the light of those representations as it considered appropriate;
