Amendment of the Social Security (Maternity Allowance) Regulations

2.  In regulation 3 of the Social Security (Maternity Allowance) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1987(1) (modification of the maternity allowance period)—

(a) in paragraph (1) for “paragraphs (2) to (6)” there shall be substituted “the following provisions of this regulation”; and

(b) paragraphs (3) to (6) shall be omitted.
