11. In section 87 of the 1986 Act (schemes authorised in designated countries or territories)—
(a)at the end of paragraph (b) of subsection (2A)(1) there shall be inserted “or the Open-Ended Investment Companies (Investment Companies with Variable Capital) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997”; and
(b)at the end of subsection (2A) there shall be inserted “or the Open-Ended Investment Companies (Investment Companies with Variable Capital) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997”.
Section 87(2AA) was inserted into the 1986 Act by regulation 75 of, and paragraph 16 of Schedule 8 to, S.I. 1996/2827
