Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These Regulations increase the licence duties payable from 1st January 1998 to the Fisheries Conservancy Board for Northern Ireland in respect of licences for the use of fishing engines for the taking of eels by the amounts set out below.

Fixed wing nets used in that part of Lower Lough Erne in the County of Fermanagh lying between Rosscor Viaduct and an imaginary line running directly from North to South and passing through the Western tip of Ferny Island in the Parish of Belleek, Barony of Lurg and having a leader and wing or wings, each not exceeding 230 metres in length, for each batch of 10 or less. . .1,029·001,055·7526·75
