The Waste Collection and Disposal (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997

The Department of the Environment, being a department designated1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 in relation to measures relating to the prevention, reduction and elimination of pollution caused by waste, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by that section and Articles 5(1) and 86(2) of the Pollution Control and Local Government (Northern Ireland) Order 19783 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following regulations:
