Interpretation
2. In these regulations—
“criminal investigation” has the meaning specified in section 1(4) of the 1996 Act;
“the principal regulations” means the Criminal Justice (Serious Fraud) (Northern Ireland) Order 1988 (Notice of Transfer) Regulations 1989(1);
“the 1996 Act” means the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996(2).
