EDUCATION
This Order brings into operation on 1st September 1999 Article 13 of the Education (Northern Ireland) Order 1998. That Article requires the scheme of management for each grant-aided school to provide that it is the duty of the Board of Governors of the school to prepare, and from time to time revise, a school development plan. It also enables the Department to make regulationsprescribing the matters to be dealt with by the plan;prescribing the period for which the plan is to have effect;prescribing the manner in which the plan is to be published; andproviding for the revision of the plan.
