This Order adds employment as Secretary to The Mental Health Commission to the employments and offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 (‘the 1972 Order’) for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It is retrospective by virtue of Article 3(7) of the 1972 Order.

The Department of Finance and Personnel in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 19721 and now vested in it2 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
