SOCIAL SECURITY
This Order provides for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Welfare Reform and Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1999—Article 50 (extension of entitlement to state maternity allowance) and, for the purposes of cases to which Article 50 applies, Part VI of Schedule 8 and Article 67 in so far as it relates to that Part, for the purposes only of authorising the making of regulations, on 12th January 2000 and for all other purposes on 2nd April 2000;for the purposes of cases to which Article 50 applies, repeals in Part V of Schedule 10 in respect of maternity allowance and Article 76 in so far as it relates to those repeals, on 2nd April 2000;Article 58 (incapacity for work: personal capability assessments), paragraph 22(3) of Schedule 8 (requirement to have a medical examination), in so far as those provisions are not already in operation, and paragraph 23 of Schedule 8 (own occupation test) and Article 67 in so far as it relates to those paragraphs, on 3rd April 2000;paragraph 22(1), (2) and (4) of Schedule 8 (test of incapacity for work), so far as those provisions are not already in operation, and Article 67 in so far as it relates to that paragraph, on 16th December 1999;Article 63 (attendance allowance) and Article 64(1) and (2) (disability living allowance) on 12th January 2000.
