45. In regulation 140 (meaning of person in hardship)—
(a)in paragraph (1)(1), after “applies” there shall be inserted “or a member of a joint-claim couple and regulation 3E does not apply”;
(b)in paragraph (2)(2), after “applies” there shall be inserted “or where the person in hardship is a member of a joint-claim couple and regulation 3E does not apply”.
