The Secretary of State, in pursuance of sections 25 and 26 of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 19981, and sections 43 and 44 of the Police Act (Northern Ireland) 20002, and after consulting the Chief Constable, the Policing Board3, the Police Association and the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland hereby makes the following regulations:—
