Citation and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Close Seasons for Angling) Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 14th May 2001.
Close Seasons for angling2.
The annual close seasons for angling for salmon and trout in the waters of the Foyle Area and the Carlingford Area are prescribed in the Schedule to these Regulations.
Revocation3.
Given under the Seal of the Foyle, Carlingford and Irish Lights Commission on 6th April 2001.
Approved by the North/South Ministerial Council on 6th April 2001.
being persons authorised by the North/South Ministerial Council to signify approval on its behalf.

These Regulations, which replace the Foyle Area (Close Seasons for Angling) Regulations 1987, specify the close seasons for angling for salmon and trout in the waters of the Foyle and Carlingford Areas.
