Street Trading (Form of Licence) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001

Coming into operation

1st October 2001

The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 6(2) of the Street Trading Act (Northern Ireland) 2001(1) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Street Trading (Form of Licence) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2001.

Form of licence for street trading

2.  A street trading licence shall be in the form set out in the Schedule.

Revocation

3.  The Street Trading Regulations 1929(2) are hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These Regulations prescribe the form of a street trading licence, including its renewal and any variation in the conditions, which may be issued by a District Council authorising a person to trade as a stationary or mobile street trader.
