ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES

These Regulations amend the Goods Vehicles (Testing) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995 by increasing the fees as follows—For a vehicle 3,500 kilograms maximum gross weight or under—the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal is increased from £17·00 to £18·50; andthe fee payable where an application for a retest is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate is increased from £10·00 to £11·00.For vehicles exceeding 3,500 kilograms maximum gross weight—the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a re-test or an appeal is increased as follows—for a 2 axle rigid vehicle, from £23·00 to £24·50;for a 3 axle rigid vehicle, from £28·50 to £30·00;for a 4 axle rigid vehicle, from £35·00 to £36·50;for an articulated vehicle having a 2 axle drawing vehicle, from £25·00 to £26·50; andfor an articulated vehicle having a 3 axle drawing vehicle, from £32·50 to £34·00.the fee payable where an application for a retest is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate is increased from £13·00 to £14·00.For a trailer—the fee payable on application for a first test, a periodical test, a retest or an appeal is increased from £22·00 to £23·50; andthe fee payable where an application for a retest is made within 21 days from the date of service of a notice of refusal of a goods vehicle test certificate is increased from £13·00 to £14·00.The fee payable for the issue of a replacement certificate is increased from £9·00 to £10·00.
