SOCIAL SECURITY
Made
28th June 2001
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security (1998 Order) (Commencement No. 12) Order (Northern Ireland) 2001.
(2) In this Order any reference to a numbered Article or Schedule is to the Article of, or the Schedule to, the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 bearing that number.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of—
(a)paragraph 60(1)(b) of Schedule 6 (minor and consequential amendments), in so far as it relates to housing benefit, and Article 78(1) in so far as it relates to that paragraph;
(b)paragraph 60(2) of Schedule 6 and Article 78(1) in so far as it relates to it; and
(c)the repeal in Schedule 7 of section 5(1)(o) and (p) and (3) of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(3), in so far as that section relates to housing benefit, and Article 78(2) in so far as it relates to that repeal,
is 2nd July 2001.
