2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of—
(a)sections 29, 30 and 33 and Schedule 4 (state second pension)—
(i)for the purpose only of authorising the making of orders under sections 38, 38B and 41A of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993(1), is 1st February 2001, and
(ii)for all other purposes, is 6th April 2002;
(b)section 32 (revaluation) in so far as not already in operation, is 1st February 2001; and
(c)section 31 (calculation of Category B retirement pension) in so far as not already in operation and Part II of Schedule 9 and section 67 in so far as it relates to that Part, is 9th April 2001.
1993 c. 49; section 38(1) was substituted by Article 134(3) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 (S.I. 1995/3213 (N.I. 22)); sections 38B and 41A were inserted respectively by Articles 134(4) and 135(5) of that Order; sections 38(1), 38B and 41A were amended respectively by paragraphs 51, 53 and 57 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/671)
