Statutory Rules of Northern Ireland

Made

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 79 of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2002.
2. The provisions of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 specified in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 15th April 2002.

This Commencement Order, which is the fourth to be made under the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000, brings into force on 15th April 2002 those provisions of the Act set out in the Schedule to the Order.
