Coming into operation
The Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 5 of the Pharmacy (Northern Ireland) Order 19761 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, and with the approval of the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety2 hereby makes the following Regulations: –
Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (General) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2003.

In these Regulations “the principal regulations” means the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19943.
Amendment of the principal Regulations

In regulation 3 of the principal regulations (restoration fees) for “£50” there shall be substituted “£57”.

In regulation 4 of the principal regulations (retention fees) –
a
in paragraph (1)(a) for “£150” there shall be substituted “£170”;
b
in paragraph (2)(a) for “£69” there shall be substituted “£78”;
c
in paragraph (2)(b) for “£55” there shall be substituted “£62”;
d
in paragraph (2)(c) for “£25” there shall be substituted “£28”.
