Amendments and revocations
10.—(1) The Jam and Similar Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982(1) and the Jam and Similar Products (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1990(2) are hereby revoked.
(2) The following entries relating to the Jam and Similar Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982 shall be omitted –
(a)in the Food (Revision of Penalties and Mode of Trial) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1987(3), in Schedule 1;
(b)in the Food Safety (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 (Consequential Modifications) Order (Northern Ireland) 1991(4), in Schedule 1, Part I and in Schedules 3 and 5;
(c)in the Food Safety (Exports) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1991(5), in the Schedule;
(d)in the Food (Forces Exemptions) (Revocations) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992(6), in the Schedule;
(e)in the 1996 Regulations, in Schedule 9.
(3) In the Miscellaneous Food Additives Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996(7), in Schedules 2, 3 and 7, for “Directive 79/693/EEC” in each place where it appears there is substituted “Directive 2001/113/EC relating to fruit jams, jellies and marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption”.
