Taxis (Newtownards) (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 2004

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 65(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(1), and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Bye-Laws:

Citation and commencement

1.  These Bye-Laws may be cited as the Taxis (Newtownards) (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 3rd March 2004.

Bye-Laws amended

2.  In the Schedule to the Taxis (Newtownards) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1996(2) before the first entry for Regent Street there shall be inserted –

Old Cross StreetWest Side, from a point approximately 15 metres from the junction with Court Street to a point approximately 57 metres from that junction.7At any time.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Bye-Laws.)

These Bye-Laws amend the Schedule to the Taxis (Newtownards) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1996 by prescribing a new taxi stand at Old Cross Street.
