For the purposes of this item – “passenger car” means a motor vehicle which –

1. (a)

   is constructed or adapted to carry passengers and is not a goods vehicle;

2. (b)

   *has no more than 6 seats including the driver’s seat; and

“Class I vehicle” means a goods vehicle (category NI) which has a reference mass not exceeding 1,305 kg.

“Class II vehicle” means a goods vehicle (category NI) which has a reference mass exceeding 1,305 kg but not exceeding 1,760 kg.

“Class III” vehicle means a goods vehicle (category NI) which has a reference mass exceeding 1,760 kg.
