The Housing (2003 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004

The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(3) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 2003(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Housing (2003 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004.

Appointed day

2.  Article 131 of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 shall come into operation on 1st September 2004.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order brings into operation on 1st September 2004 Article 131 of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (“the 2003 Order”) which makes provision to require the Department for Social Development to make a scheme for the sale of houses by registered housing associations. The 2003 Order is fully in operation from that date, the rest of its provisions having come into operation by virtue of Article 1(2) of the 2003 Order or been brought into operation in accordance with Article 1(3) of the 2003 Order: see the Housing (2003 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 (S.R. 2003 No. 270 (C. 20)) and the Housing (2003 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 (S.R. 2003 No. 528 (C. 39)).
