PART XIVDISAPPLICATIONS AND REVOCATIONS

Disapplication of existing provisions

65.—(1) The Landing of Carcases and Animal Products Order (Northern Ireland) 1985(1) shall not apply to products to which these Regulations apply, except the products referred to in regulation 3(3).

(2) The Artificial Reproduction of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1975(2) shall not apply to products to which these regulations apply, except embryos, ova and semen of the ovine, caprine and bovine species.

(3) The following shall not apply to products to which these Regulations apply –

(a)the Imported Food Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1991(3); and

(b)regulations 2, 3 to 8, 28 to 39, 40(1), Schedule 4 and Part I of Schedule 5 of the Products of Animal Origin (Import and Export) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998(4).

Revocations

66.  The Regulations specified in Schedule 5, (so far as they apply), are revoked as set out in that Schedule.
