The Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sections 62(1)(a) and (c) and 171(3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19921, and now vested in it2, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, by this statutory rule which contains regulations made by virtue of, or consequential upon, Schedule 9 to the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 20053, hereby makes the following Regulations:
