In section 165(1)(c)24 (determination of questions by Department) for “widow or widower” there shall be substituted “widow, widower or surviving civil partner”.

The reference in sub-paragraph (1) to section 165 is a reference to that section as it has effect without the substitution made by paragraph 99 of Schedule 6 to the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 199825.
